We are building a float to recognize wounded service members. It will be handicap accessible but we are having trouble finding wounded service members to ride. We are planning to put the float in Dionysus in Slidell on Sunday February 23 and in Argus in Metairie on Mardi Gras Day we were hoping to get local people or in the tri-state area to ride. We have a couple of people working on it but have not been too successful. We have contacted the Wounded Warrior project many of the branches but seem to be getting a run around. The float is being built new and the Ronnie Natal is going to put it in the parade for no charge to the Krewes his brother is in Afghanistan.
