FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN – GPS/LASERS

You will be working on heavy equipment doing installations, training and repairs of lasers, hydraulics, electronics and GPS systems. A background in heavy equipment, hydraulics, lasers service and repair is helpful. Training will be provided. Some overnight travel may be required.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will be a disciplined self-starter with at least two years of experience working in a similar field.

GPS & 3D MACHINE CONTROL SALES SPECIALIST

Job Description:

We are searching for candidates with a minimum of three years of outside sales experience in the heavy equipment/construction industry. The position requires a working knowledge of heavy equipment and/or 3D machine control systems with a proven track record demonstrating the ability to develop relationships with customers and promote sales, rentals and service. Experience working with Topcon brand (or similar) 3D machine control, GPS, lasers, total stations and other construction equipment to contractors is a requirement.

Specific Duties Include:

  • Sell equipment, parts, accessories, rentals and service as a total customer solution and build long term relationships within their territory to maximize customer and company profitability.
  • Effectively understand and use manufacturers’ programs and resources to attain acceptable market share levels.
  • Use Company provided systems/tools to fully document, track, record, follow-up and capture all related sales activity in a timely and accurate manner.  Use of the system should contribute directly to the proposal process, winning the sale, volume, territory awareness, participation, and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop an awareness of the competition and competitive products and industry trends.
  • Coordinate and/or conduct field demonstrations.
  • Coordinate internally and externally for pickup and delivery of equipment as needed.
  • Provide timely follow up on each sale to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Present and conduct a professional image of GeoShack.
  • Participate in all company/regional communications and meetings.
