The Louisiana National Guard State Sponsored Life Insurance Benefit
Upon enrollment, the member will receive a certificate giving a complete statement of the benefits.
National Guard Members can take out coverage in the following amounts:
- $10,000
- $15,000
- $20,000
- $25,000
- $30,000
- $40,000
- $50,000
Spouse’s can take out coverage in the following amounts (cannot exceed Member coverage):
- $ 5,000
- $10,000
- $15,000
- $20,000
- $25,000
Children can also be covered (up to age 23 if they are a Full-Time student) for the following amounts:
- $ 5,000
- $10,000
