Excelsior College Recognized as Military-Friendly

Now in its eighth year of publishing, the Military Advanced Education Guide to Colleges and Universities has again named Excelsior College among the top military-friendly schools in the country.

The wide range of military and veteran-focused support services available through the Center for Military Education at Excelsior College, including their online veterans center, make the school a popular choice among military students. More than 38,000 adults are currently enrolled in Excelsior’s degree programs, and more than 40% of these students are veterans or active duty servicemembers.

“The guide serves as an invaluable tool for both education services officers and transition officers when advising service members about their educational opportunities,” said MAE editor Kelly Fodel. “We used strict criteria to individually evaluate the submissions of respondents, and had a record number of schools participating this year.”
