Immediate need for 100 temporary resources to support the NBA All-Star Jam Session for the 2014 NBA All-Star Game in New Orleans, LA, on Feb. 14-16, 2014.
The ideal candidate should love to have FUN and love the game of basketball and working with kids. Must be able to stay on feet for duration of the assignment. Pleasant personality and excellent customer service. Usually individuals that have played or play the game of basketball usually work best in these types of positions.

Full Description
NBA All-Star Jam Session is a wall-to-wall basketball fun for all ages! Fans can shoot, slam, dribble and drive all day, compete against their friends in skills challenges and collect FREE autographs from NBA players and legends. Young fans can take their shot on hoops that are the perfect size for kids’ slam dunks, three-pointers and jump shots.
Notes: The NBA will introduce an Experiential Data Collection system that will enable fans to use a single RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) Credential to engage with sponsor activations, collect content, and share their experiences through social media. RFID-enabled credentials will allow fans to tap and instantly post social media “likes” and “check-ins” to sponsor footprints, participate in “enter to win” contest, as well as collect digital rewards or other prizing of a sponsor’s choice.
Track Towers – Interactive Kiosks will be integrated into sponsor activations, so that fans who participate in sponsor activations will have content immediately posted to email or Social Media with appropriate partner branding.
NBA Jam Brand Ambassadors will be placed next to the track towers to engage and assist fans throughout the Jam Session show floor, so that we could collect accurate data, and amplify our social media presence.
Assignment Attire: We will provide a t-shirt and are deciding on whether temps should wear black or khaki pants, shorts, etc. Can wear sneakers as long as they are clean.
Credential/Identification Needed: Yes, we will provide day passes for entrance into the Convention Center and on the Jam Session show floor.
