EANGUS has an interim Legislative Director, Scott Bousum.
Before joining the EANGUS team, Scott was the Director of National Security Policy and Procurement Policy at TechAmerica, a leading U.S. technology industry association. Scott previously served as legislative staff on the House Armed Services Committee, supporting the Tactical Air and Land Forces Subcommittee. That specific subcommittee conducts oversight of Army and Air Force National Guard and Reserve accounts, and he has extensive experience writing bills and amendments relating to National Defense Authorization Act.
Scott hails from Oklahoma, and originally worked on the staff of U.S. Senator Tom Coburn of Oklahoma. He is a graduate of the University of Tulsa and received his Masters’ degree in National Security Strategic Studies from the United States Naval War College. His first day with EANGUS will begin on Monday, October 6th, but he has already logged in to two teleconferences relating to the 2015 Legislative Workshop Committee. We will do a more detailed profile on Scott for the Fall New Patriot.
